Terms and Conditions


I understand that there may at times be responsible contact between my child/ren and the teaching staff of Miss Fisher's Ballet Academy which is a necessary part of dance.

I understand that my child/ren will be participating in dance classes under safe dance practice and normal risks associated with dance/movement.

I agree that any photos/videos taken during any classes and performances may be used by Miss Fisher's Ballet Academy for advertising purposes.

Students are to be collected by a parent/guardian at the end of all lessons.

Students are expected to wear the full uniform to all classes and can be purchased from Miss Fisher's Ballet Academy. From Pre Primary onwards, female students are required to wear their hair in a neat ballet bun, male students are to also have their hair brushed neatly. No watches or necklaces to be worn in class.

Students are expected to behave in a friendly and respectful manner to all teachers and fellow students befitting Miss Fisher's Ballet Academy's reputation.

If your child is sick and unable to take place in the class, parents will be contacted to collect. Likewise, please notify Miss Fisher's Ballet Academy if your child is not attending a lesson. If your child has a contagious illness, please let us know and do not attend until the illness has been cleared by a doctor.

Please pack bottled water only for your child, there is to be no sugary drinks or food allowed in the studio.

There is no responsibility from Miss Fisher's Ballet Academy if the student has left personal items in the studio. If you leave personal items, you do so at your own risk.

We believe in positive teaching methods in a joyful and nurturing environment, however at times constructive criticism is needed for the students to progress with their technique.

Fees are due within 7 days of invoice and need to be finalized. Reminders will be sent out accordingly to late and overdue payments. There are four (4) terms in each year and term fees are payable for a term not by class and are due in accordance with the due date on each termís invoice. Invoices will be issued at the beginning of each term and emailed to you prior to the commencement of the term.

Wherever possible, one termís notice is required to discontinue a class. There are no refunds for discontinuing once a term has commenced or for lessons that fall on a public holiday.

Where the Academy cancels a class for any reason, the Academy in its sole discretion will decide whether it is appropriate to offer a make-up class or provide a refund as an alternative.

There are no refunds and fees cannot be transferred to another family member.

Parents are expected to wait outside during lessons, unless arranged prior with Miss Fisher's Ballet Academy. We have open days and viewing weeks where parents have the opportunity to watch their child/ren.
